Wamdsad 26th Annual Games

130 athletes from 6 different clubs from all over the South of England participated in a fantastic day of sport here at WAMDSAD. Vivienne Davies - Games Organiser said:

"This year's event has once again been buzzing with enthusiasm and talent - from our youngest competitor of age 9, Scott Denton from Winnersh, Wokingham through to our most senior athlete Ray Fields - and the very many in between, who have had a thoroughly good time achieving many personal bests in their sporting endeavours. The weather was very kind and we are all looking forward to celebrating our 27th Annual WAMDSAD Games next year with equal enthusiasm and anticipation In addition,I would like to thank personally the 130 athletes who brought good humour and fun with them, and who were all supported by more than 40 of WAMDSAD's own non-disabled members, a team of 20 young students from Newlands Girls School, Maidenhead and the 1st Binfield Guides, who assisted in running events and keeping to time in a jam packed day of sporting activity." - Vivienne Davies - WAMDSAD Games Organiser and Director.
