What WAMDSAD Can Do For You

Membership of WAMDSAD has improved the quality of life for many disabled and able-bodied people over the years through sport, fund-raising and having great fun. Building confidence and self-esteem and making new friends, that’s what WAMDSAD is all about! A key element of life at WAMDSAD is about having fun. See About Us.

Our aim is to provide sports and recreation and an active social environment for our Members’ to enable them to take part at whatever level they wish – to be competitive or just to ‘have a go’ and take part in sport for fun.

Almost every day our sports sections are active either at our clubhouse in Maidenhead, in conjunction with other sports clubs or at The Magnet Leisure Centre in Maidenhead. Throughout the spring and summer months too our ‘Away Games Team’ takes part in various sports events up and down the country.

We provide a whole range of different activities, sports and leisure facilities, so there is always something for everyone to do.

Whether disabled, able-bodied, sporting or social, all Members when fully paid up are entitled to one vote each at the AGM.

If Members are under 18 years of age on 1st January Members are registered as a junior member of WAMDSAD.
